Jessica Jones
Clinical Therapist
As a therapist, I will meet you where you are with a calm and soothing presence. I will work to help you gain greater understanding, resilience, and resolution in whatever challenges you are currently facing. I will adapt and tailor our time together to best fit you and your unique needs.
During my undergraduate studies I was on track to be a medical doctor and worked in the medical field within homes and hospital settings for several years. It was through helping individuals of all ages and their families to cope with illness and to live as fully as possible within their circumstances that I recognized my passion for mental health counseling and the value of therapy and the therapeutic alliance.
My mental health training included supporting adults with a wide variety of health concerns and social stressors at Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. I also worked with children and adolescent males at the Brandon School and Residential Treatment Center helping them to overcome challenging life experiences, to be safe, and to succeed in school, at home, and with their peers.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a Spanish minor from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Commonwealth Honors College and I graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with additional studies in Latinx Mental Health from William James College.
I am looking forward to continuing my work with individuals of all ages, supporting them to be their best selves!
