Alison Cabral, LCSW

Clinical Therapist

I have been working in the social work field for over 10 years; more than half working directly with individual clients, including children, adolescents and adults of all ages. I believe that everyone can benefit from having a nonjudgmental and caring person to support whatever is going on in their life, and I hope to provide that for you or your child. I am known for being an excellent listener and treating my clients with respect and compassion. I let clients take the lead and tailor my treatment around the comfort level and needs of each person.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice & Juvenile Justice from Salve Regina University, and my Masters in Social Work from Rhode Island College. My internships focused on working with at-risk youth and their families, psychoeducation on healthy relationships to adolescents and adults, as well as, extensive support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families.

I look forward to working with you and offering you the safe and comfortable space on your journey to empowerment and healing!
